Terms and Conditions for Participation in the MHE Dad's Club Charity Golf Classic Tournament

 

Introduction

Welcome to the MHE Dad's Club Charity Golf Tournament. Participation in this event signifies your agreement to the following terms and conditions, designed to ensure a fair, enjoyable, and responsible tournament for all involved.

1. Participation and Conduct

• Participants agree to abide by the official rules of the tournament and conduct themselves with integrity, respect for others, and sportsmanship at all times.

• Scoring will be based on the honor system. Participants are responsible for accurately and honestly recording their scores.

• The organizers commit to ensuring fairness and adherence to the rules but acknowledge that absolute prevention of cheating or rule violations is beyond their control.

2. Code of Ethics and Fair Play

• Participants are expected to uphold the highest standards of fairness, ethical behavior, and integrity. This includes, but is not limited to, honesty in scoring, respect for all participants, officials, and volunteers, and adherence to the rules and spirit of the game.

• The spirit of the competition is rooted in charity, community support, and sportsmanship. Actions contrary to these principles may result in disqualification or other penalties.

3. Waiver of Legal Action

• By participating, you waive any right to sue or take legal action against the MHE Dad's Club, its affiliates, and volunteers regarding disputes related to scoring, the awarding of prizes, or any other aspects of the event.

• You recognize that the prize money is sourced from donations for the benefit of the MHE Dad's Club and its educational support initiatives.

4. Dispute Resolution

• The MHE Dad's Club will appoint an independent committee to resolve any disputes arising from the tournament. This committee's decisions will be final and binding on all matters of dispute.

• This process ensures impartiality and fairness in addressing any concerns that may occur during the event.

5. Event Postponement and Cancellation

• Should unforeseen circumstances require postponement or cancellation, efforts will be made to reschedule, though it's not guaranteed.

• Acknowledge that all sales are final, with no refunds provided for cancellations or postponements.

6. Environmental Responsibility

• Participants and spectators are urged to respect the natural beauty of the golf course and its surroundings. This includes proper disposal of waste, minimizing environmental impact, and adhering to any specific environmental policies set by the venue.

7. Media and Promotion

• Consent is given for the use of participant images and names in event-related promotional materials without compensation.

8. Safety and Liability

• Personal safety during the event is the participant's responsibility. The MHE Dad's Club disclaims liability for injuries or damages.

• Participants are encouraged to have appropriate insurance coverage.

9. Amendments to the Terms
